What is a EE-PAKIS number?
EE-PAKIS is the packaging producer register operated by Keskkonnaagentuur (Estonian Environment Agency) (PAKIS pakendiaruande esitanud ettevotted (packaging report filers)). Every producer placing packaging on the EE market must hold a valid registration; the number proves the producer has met its Extended Producer Responsibility obligation for that stream.
Why marketplaces verify it (PPWR Article 45)
